Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission is related to one of the open call for papers published on Lo Sguardo's website: https://www.losguardo.net/en/call-for-papers-2/.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration
- You have prepared an anonymized version of your submission
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines: https://www.losguardo.net/en/guidelines-publication-editing/.
- Where available, URLs and DOIs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; it employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Possible translations of articles published for the first time on Lo Sguardo must be authorized by the Journal before their publication. Copyright of graphic layout and design of Lo Sguardo‘s website and issues in PDF format remains to the Journal.
Free publication and authors’ intellectual property
Lo Sguardo does not ask authors for any cost of elaboration and publication of the articles.
As an Open Access journal, Lo Sguardo guarantees to the authors:
- Free access for all users worldwide
- Increased visibility and readership
- No spatial constraints Licenses
Intellectual property of all the articles published by Lo Sguardo is recognized to their authors, even if the Journal asks them to clearly require permission when intended to republish their texts on other journals, volumes, websites, etc. Once informed the Journal, the author will have a permission to republish the article. Authors will mandatory mention the first publication on Lo Sguardo.
After the publication of the article, authors are allowed to freely republish a PDF of it on institutional repositories, private or public websites, academic social networks, archives, newsletters. Articles must keep Lo Sguardo‘s layout structure and link to the Journal’s website. Previous publications, like the pre-publication of the article at submission, accepted or proof stage on every website or other journals, are not allowed.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
